Summer Season: Jordan and Jessie Trump
We are Jordan and Jessie, and we love supporting local athletes in their track and field gains!! We've encouraged young athletes in trying out the Multi’s (Decathlon and Heptathlon), while also focusing on our favorite individual events! The hottest-hits are typically pole vaulting with Jessie, sprints/blocks/hurdles with Jordan, and our extensive network of track/field experts to keep the quality of coaching high in every event! We LOVE collaboration and networking, and keep our eyes/ears open for other track-lovers to come share their passion and knowledge with our athletes!!
Jessie is an Olympic Trials Qualifier, a 2x NAIA National Champion, and remains the NAIA Indoor Record holder, with an 18 year standing record!! Jessie also holds the Cascade Collegiate Conference records. Jordan and Jessie were both repeat Cascade Collegiate Conference Champions, and NAIA All-Americans.
Outside of track, we stay busy! Jessie is a School Social Worker, and Jordan is a Warehouse Supervisor. They are the proud parents of five children, and expecting their 6th to join the world in July, possibly at practice, lol. They spend their time on their farm, at the lakes/rivers, BBQ-ing, watching Duck football, hunting, and any other fun activities they can jump into!

Winter Season: Dave Turnbull
Dave Turnbull has been a pillar of the Central Oregon Track & Field Community for many years. During his time as the Head Coach at Summit High School, he also steadily grew Mondo Track Club (now merged into COTC). His teams have been among the best in the State of Oregon since 2002, with more State Titles than we can count! He continues to use his time to the improve on the quality of competition, facilities, and coaches in our region. He has set a high bar that inspires growth in those around him, both athletes and coaches!
Did you know that Dave accepted a full-scholarship to Oregon State University, where he was an All Pac-10 competitor for four years, competing in the high jump, long jump, triple jump and the 4X100 relay? Now you do!
In other news, Dave is also a talented and passionate singer! If you ask nicely, he might play a track for you!
Coaches you may see in either season:
Kevin Cornett: Javelin, MTWTh 5-7 (he'll be as consistent as he can, but will update days that won't work).
Tara Coleman: High Jump, T/Th 5-7 (Tara has a due-date in July, and will adjust hours as her pregnancy or new bundle of joy demands).
